The Enemy Wants You Exhausted, But God Gave You Weapons to Fight
You keep showing up.
You keep carrying responsibilities.
You keep trying to do what’s right.
And most people looking at your life would probably think you’re doing well.
But internally?
“I am so tired.”
Not lazy tired.
Not “I stayed up too late” tired.
Deep tired.
The kind of exhaustion that settles into your thoughts, your emotions, your body… and even your relationship with God.
You love the Lord.
You want to walk faithfully.
But somewhere along the way, life started feeling heavy.

π₯ Christian Woman, Your Emotions Cannot Lead Your Life
π Watch here
This message is part of a deeper conversation about why so many Christian women leaders feel emotionally exhausted, spiritually strained, and internally overwhelmed… even while trying to faithfully serve God.
And, you might like this part especially:

Exhaustion Is Not Always Accidental
Scripture tells us plainly:
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…”
John 10:10
Sometimes exhaustion is physical.
Sometimes it’s emotional.
Sometimes it comes from carrying too much for too long.
But spiritually?
You also have an enemy who would love to keep you so overwhelmed, distracted, emotionally drained, and mentally exhausted… that you stop hearing God clearly.
Because if he can keep you exhausted enough, eventually:
π Prayer starts feeling harder
π Discernment becomes cloudy
π Peace gets replaced with pressure
π You begin reacting emotionally instead of responding prayerfully
And over time, exhaustion starts feeling normal.
But God never created you to live constantly depleted.
In Part 1 of this series, I explain the spiritual layer of exhaustion:
π₯ Spiritual Exhaustion: Why You Feel Drained Even When You Love God
π Watch Here

You’re Not Weak. You’re in a Battle.
The Bible reminds us:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood…”
Ephesians 6:12
If you are doing meaningful work, loving your family, leading in business, serving in ministry,
or simply trying to walk faithfully with the Lord, you are engaged in spiritual warfare.
Of course you feel tired sometimes.
You are carrying real responsibilities.
You are trying to walk faithfully in a world that constantly pulls your attention away from God.
And spiritual warfare is real.
But God never sends you into battle without equipping you.
The Soul Is Often the Battleground
Exhaustion doesn’t only happen at the spiritual level.
Your soul--your mind, will, and emotions--can be under constant strain.
π Unchecked thoughts
π Internal pressure
π Emotional suppression
π Performance expectations
π Mental overload
Your soul can become exhausted long before your body fully gives out.
And many Christian women never realize it’s happening.
π Constant internal pressure
π Overthinking
π Carrying emotional weight alone
π Trying to hold everything together
π Feeling responsible for everyone else’s emotions
Eventually, your inner world becomes noisy.
And when your soul is noisy, it becomes harder to hear God clearly.
That’s why learning to lead your thoughts, emotions, and mind with the Lord matters so much.

The Body Matters More Than You Think
Then there’s the physical layer.
π Sleep deprivation
π Hormonal shifts
π Inflammation
π Food sensitivities
π Blood sugar instability
Your body affects your emotions more than many Christian women realize.
Lack of sleep, inflammation, blood sugar instability, chronic stress, and hormonal shifts can all intensify emotional overwhelm and mental exhaustion.
That does not make you weak.
And it does not make you “less spiritual.”
God created you as spirit, soul, and body.
Ignoring your physical health while trying to stay spiritually strong eventually catches up with you.
In Part 3, we look at how the body can either support or sabotage spiritual strength:

Watching all three messages together brings clarity that one video alone cannot.

God Gave You Weapons
The enemy may attempt to exhaust you.
But you are not defenseless.
You have weapons.
π The Word of God
π Prayer
π Worship
π Discernment
π Boundaries
π Rest
π Community
π Obedience
God has not left you helpless.
He has given you practical, spiritual ways to strengthen your heart, renew your mind, and restore your peace.
π Time in His Word
π Prayer
π Rest
π Wise boundaries
π Obedience
π Spirit-led priorities
These things are not optional luxuries.
They are part of how you stay spiritually and emotionally healthy while walking out your calling.
How to Begin Fighting Back
β¨ Ask the Lord to show you what is draining you that He never assigned
β¨ Take one thought captive instead of letting it spiral
β¨ Create one rhythm of rest before collapse forces it
β¨ Refuse to call overextension “faithfulness"
Small shifts create spiritual resilience.
If you've gotten caught up in comparison or are feeling "less than," remember that God uniquely created you for His purpose, not anyone else’s, and He wants to help you find it.
You can read more about that here: Uniquely Created by God for a Purpose

You Do Not Have to Keep Living This Way
You do not have to live under constant internal pressure.
You do not have to keep functioning in survival mode.
And you do not have to carry responsibilities God never asked you to carry.
The Lord wants to lead you with peace.
Not panic.
Not confusion.
Not constant emotional exhaustion.
If this series is speaking deeply to you, start at the beginning and watch all three messages in order.

Ask the Lord to show you what is draining you… what needs healing… and what needs to change.
Because exhaustion is not always a sign that you need to try harder.
Sometimes it’s a sign that God is inviting you to lead differently.
