Your Best Chapters Are Ahead Of You
One of the things God has been showing me lately is that I tend to judge the story before He's finished writing it.
Have you ever done that?
You look at your circumstances and assume you know how the story ends.
The door hasn't opened.
The prayer hasn't been answered.
The dream hasn't been fulfilled.
The business hasn't grown.
The relationships haven't changed.
And it's easy to conclude that nothing is happening.

But what if you're simply living in the middle chapters?
When I read a book, I don't expect every problem to be solved halfway through.
I don't expect all the loose ends to be tied up in Chapter 8.
The story is still unfolding.
If you've gotten caught up in comparing yourself, or copying other people's stories…
remember that God created you uniquely for His purpose.

Friend, if you've still got breath left, God's still got goals left for you to achieve.
He isn't finished writing your story.
Maybe the chapter you're living right now is a chapter of preparation.
He's growing your faith, changing your heart, arranging circumstances that you can't see yet.
When you look back years from now, it may all make sense (or it will in heaven). He's been preparing you.
