When You Don’t Know What To Do Next…Do This
You were tempted to quit, but you feel God leading you forward.
You were tempted to quit…
but something in you knew you couldn’t walk away.
But now you’re here…
and you’re asking:
“What do I do next?”
Have you been saying to God lately,
“Now what?”

Before You Walk Away...Ask This First
I want to talk to you, just you and me, for a minute.
Is that ok?
There have been times, even very recently, when I’ve looked at what was in front of me and thought:
“This is way too much…” or,
“Why is it taking so long…” or,
“I don’t know if I can keep going…”
It wasn’t that my relationship with God had changed.
I hadn't stopped believing He had called me.
It just felt too hard.

What If God Opened The Door Tomorrow?
One thing about the story of Nehemiah has always challenged me.
Nehemiah was ready.
When the king asked what he wanted, he didn't say:
"Let me think about that."
He didn't ask for a week.
He didn't tell the king he'd get back to him.
He knew the answer.
He knew in detail what result he wanted, what resources and materials he would need, he had a plan and could state an estimated timeframe of how long the plan would take to complete.
Wow.

What If God Isn't Finished With You Yet?
A few years ago, I began noticing something.
As we get older, we often become more “realistic.”
Or at least that’s what we may call it.

A friend asked me, “Are you bitter?”
I said, “No, I’m just hurt. Disappointed.”
I felt vulnerable. Unsafe. And, exhausted.
I thought I had every right to feel the way I felt. And to protect myself from it happening again.
And some of what happened to me was very painful.
Some of it really was unfair. Unjust. Uncalled for. Not right.
But somewhere along the way, my hurt had quietly turned into bitterness, without me realizing it.

For years, there was a thought that kept showing up in my mind.
I didn't say it out loud very often.
But I thought it.
Maybe you've thought it, too.
"I do everything around here."
At first, it felt true.
I was carrying a lot.
Managing responsibilities.
Keeping track of details.
Remembering things other people forgot.
Solving problems.
Handling situations before they became bigger problems.
People depended on me because I had proven they could.
